At Holmwood House, we strive to partner with parents to ensure that each and every child feels happy and secure to discover their true potential and achieve success, in and beyond the classroom. We are proud of the strong sense of community there is amongst parents, pupils and staff at the school. Working hand in hand with parents, we see the development of children as a joint venture; sharing deeply held values and aiming for the highest standards as part of our expectations of each and every individual.
We encourage parents to be actively engaged in their child’s learning through dialogue, regular meetings with teachers and attendance at information events and workshops. Our year group Parent Representatives feed directly into the Headmaster’s overview of the school and the support and camaraderie of the Friends of Holmwood House, our parent association, helps us achieve our family feel.
