At Holmwood House, we believe that even our youngest pupils thrive in an environment full of opportunities that allows them to explore and discover talents and interests.
After School Activities
We work closely with external coaches to offer Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tennis and Squash on the school site (or at Lexden Racket and Fitness Club). Children in Reception follow the same activities programme as Pre-Prep. Click here for an overview.
Wrap Around Care and After School Clubs
Our wrap around care is designed with the modern family in mind. Breakfast club starts at 7.30 am in the dining room for Reception upwards. For sessions beginning at 8am, please take you children to the Pre-prep or EYFS building, respective of their year group.
The three sessions you can book are as follows:
- 7.30am to 8.20am (with breakfast) – £8.00 per session
- 7.30am to 8.20am (without breakfast) – £5.50 per session
- 8am to 8.20am (without breakfast) – £2.10 per session
We also provide after school care for Reception to Year 3 in the Pre-Prep, known as Biscuit Club. These sessions run from 3.15 until 6pm and can be booked separately.
The three sessions you can book are as follows:
- Session 1 – 3.15pm to 4.15pm – £7.00 per session
- Session 2 – 4.15pm to 5.15pm – £7.00 per session
- Session 3 – 5.15pm to 6pm – £7.00 per session

As children grow and progress through the school, the school grows with them. The days become progressively longer and allow us to provide a rich curriculum outside of the classroom as well as in it. Through our holistic approach to education, Holmwood House pupils leave the school as well-rounded individuals, ready for their next stage in life
