As part of our theme Animals and their Habitats, RL created habitats that were either hot, cold, in water, up high or under the ground. They could make their habitat in whatever way they wanted and there were some imaginative and interesting ideas. When she was out for a walk, Maya M was looking for different habitats and observed ants that were returning to their underground home carrying food which she found fascinating! This week the class have also been learning how to partition numbers, particularly 10 and have used a variety of different items to help them such as soft toys, bricks, pasta and grapes to name but a few! A good start to the new half term!
