Thank you to all of you that got involved last week with our Children in Need themed week of activities. We raised £114.00 in total. The children produced some wonderful Pudsey Bear pictures and had fun dressing up. The weather has produced some wonderful opportunities to go splashing in puddles, which is always a firm favourite amongst the children at this time of year!
Babies
The children have been really enjoying problem solving toys. They all love using the stackable boxes and knocking it down. As we build together we encourage counting and building is size order. They have also shown a keen interest in our latch board in the garden. Because of Thanksgiving, some children enjoyed making a turkey and a lot of of them have been working on their fine motor skills when playing with the play dough which has also been a hit.Â
Bluebells
It was wonderful seeing lots of Bluebells children getting involved with children in need. Bluebells enjoyed making Pudsey Bear pictures and masks throughout the week. We have loved being outside in the breeze running around in the leaves and finding puddles to splash in, in the rain. Bluebells have shown particular interests in duplo bricks and building along with sand play and getting messy with lots of crafts. We have loved keeping busy in the Bluebells room! Hope you’re all well and enjoying the Autumn walks that we have loved hearing about from your little ones. Please add anything like this onto tapestry so we can all share them adventures.Â
Poppies
Poppies have enjoyed jumping in lots of muddy puddles and a variety of messy play activities. We focused on Children in Need and creating some beautiful pictures for Pudsey and dressing up in something different everyday to raise money. The children enjoyed doing a colour by number activity as part of our children in need activities. The children showed great concentration and perseverance when finding the numbers and colours.
